R.I.P. Paci

This Friday night Ryder said goodbye to the paci. We put it in an envelope and mailed it to the Paci Fairy. In exchange, he got a Spider Man bike AND a cupcake! He cried the first night and woke up the next morning at 6:30 asking for it. I reminded him of the agreement and he quickly went back to bed.

Saturday night he started crying for the paci again. We reminded him of the bike he got that day (which he loved playing with ALL day). He then told us to take it back that he didn't want it, he wanted the paci instead! We ignored that and he went to bed without much more fuss.

Even Cruz got a taste of the cupcake. It was peanut butter frosting and chocolate cake. It didn't last long. It only took Ryder about 4 bites and it was completely gone!
